The Torando is a multi-functional LEAK detection and extraction device used primarily for finding gas leaks.
Engineers often find that the tracing of a gas leak causes unnecessary excavation as gas will often permeate through the soil substructure and surface in an area away from its original location.
Used in conjunction with a searcher bar, the Torando is a pneumatic air pump, which utilises compressed air through a venturi to extract permeated gas. The simple and robust design of the Torando is compatible with standard searcher Bar Bore holes, or with the non-impact searcher Bar. The Torando makes tracing leaks extremely accurate, which minimises excavation and reinstatement costs, as well as reducing time spent on site and reducing your carbon footprint.
The Torando Max Adaptor increases the ability of the Torando. The Max Adaptor is used for the removal of gas in confined spaces as it can be placed externally from the leak. This negates the need of man entry into unsafe areas where gas levels are extremely high. The Max Adaptor acts rapidly to remove the gas, which improves reoccupation time for evacuated residents as a result of gas in properties, which can be hugely cost effective.

REQUIREMENT This project seeks to offer a new and improved piece of equipment which improves and extends the design and functionality of the Torando air powered vacuum device. This is the removal of small quantities of water from pits and valve chambers, for purging redundant gas pipes and the removal of residual gas trapped in building voids to aid the re occupation of the residents.
