Welcome to our quarterly newsletter and what a busy 3 months it has been at Pipetech. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights.
UWL 2025
We had a fantastic time at Utility Week Live 2025! Our team, along with Ravetti and Kleiss, were thrilled to showcase our cutting-edge pipeline solutions and connect with so many wonderful professionals from the utility sector.
There was so much excitement around The Ravetti H4 FlowStop, designed especially for large-diameter line-stopping operations. It was a true showstopper. The GECO MKII also stole the show, attracting attention on both our stand and the Cadent stand. We loved the engaging conversations we had about our FlowLock range—so many great questions that sparked informative discussions about its benefits and capabilities. Our team was delighted to share their insights and expertise with everyone who stopped by!

CONTINUED ADVENTURES ABROAD
In June, our Managing Director, James, ventured to Poland to continue the European trials of the GECO MKII. During this exciting trial, we successfully decommissioned an 800-meter section of a 16-inch medium-pressure main. Instead of venting to the atmosphere, we used two GECO units working together to transfer the gas, which is a vital step in reducing the environmental impact of methane, known to be more harmful than CO2.
And the cherry on top? The trial site was nestled in a beautiful rural forest—what a fantastic backdrop!
CAPPAGH OPEN DAY
June was filled with networking opportunities when James and Sales Manager Sharon attended a Cappagh Innovation Day. They had a great time showcasing some of our solutions, including FlowStop and our brand-new Hydrant Conversion Kit. This was a valuable opportunity to catch up with existing customers and explore potential opportunities with new ones.
WELCOME TO THE TEAM
We're super excited to welcome two new members to our team! Graham is joining us as our new Technical Engineering Lead, and Paul is coming on board as a Workshop Fitter. Both are already proving to be valuable members of the team.
SUNBELT ROADSHOWS / PHASE ONE
Our UK Sales Manager, Ashley, has been busy hitting the road lately, visiting Sunbelt Rentals depots. He’s been showcasing our latest products and answering all kinds of technical questions to ensure our customers get the most out of what we have to offer. It’s all part of our commitment to strengthening our relationships with you. A big thank you to everyone who has welcomed Ashley along the way!
REDESIGNED AND NEW PRODUCTS
Innovation is key here at Pipetech and we are thrilled to announce our redesigned Multi Tester! It now seamlessly works with electrofusion tapping saddles, is more compact, and eliminates the need for multiple test caps. Built for precision, it makes your job quicker and easier.
