Pipetech Showcases Innovation at UWL25

We were thrilled to exhibit at Utility Week Live this year, and what an incredible event it was! Our team were proud to showcase our industry-leading products, connect with utility professionals from across the sector, and highlight the very best of Pipeline Technology innovation.

Our representatives—James Hodgson, Kirsten Richmond, Steve Hodgson, Sharon Hankey, and Ashley Bentley—along with partners Emanuele Franceschini from Ravetti and Casper van Stek from Kleiss, were ready to engage with attendees and share expert knowledge.

From the moment the doors opened on day one, our stand drew immediate interest. Our lineup of pioneering solutions — including our trusted under-pressure drills, the innovative GECO Mk2 pump, Ravetti's H4 FlowStop system, and Kleiss' Bagging Off and FlowLock systems — captured the attention of visitors from all corners of the utility landscape.

The H4 FlowStop system received considerable attention, with Managing Director James Hodgson on hand to expertly explain its key advantages in large-diameter line stop operations. Meanwhile, the MicroStop system sparked significant interest among Cadent employees, underscoring its ongoing relevance in the field. Additionally, the GECO Mk2 emerged as a true showstopper, proudly showcased at both the Pipetech stand and the Cadent stand, further cementing its status as a must-see innovation at the show. Throughout the event, Kleiss’ FlowLock solutions attracted a steady stream of visitors, with Steve Hodgson and Ashley Bentley leading engaging and informative discussions around their capabilities.

The energy carried over seamlessly into Day 2, with Sales Manager Sharon Hankey fielding sales calls before the doors even opened. Throughout the day, the team welcomed representatives from Severn Trent, South East Water, SGN, and R2M Ltd, underscoring Pipetech’s continued relevance across the utility industry. Interest in our standout line-stopping solution, the H4 FlowStop System, remained strong well into the afternoon, reaffirming its impact and value to utility professionals.

The Pipetech team had an outstanding experience at Utility Week Live 2025. Our presence not only showcased our innovative technologies but also strengthened industry relationships, facilitated meaningful discussions, and reinforced our position as a leader in pipeline solutions.
