FlowStop Hydrant Conversion Kit
The Pipetech research and development team have created a FlowStop hydrant conversion kit which transforms FlowStop Tees or Weldolets into a versatile asset, eliminating their obsolescence after the FlowStop operation.
The conversion kit allows you to convert operational FlowStop costs to capitalised costs by creating an asset on the network. This can either be used post FlowStop or specifically to install a hydrant via a FlowStop tee.
OPERATION
To convert the FlowStop Split Tee to a hydrant, a standard completion plug is required for 3" tees, whereas for the 4" and 6" tees, a two-stage plug is used. A conversion flange is connected to the tee and sandwich valve is then connected to the flange. The centre section of the two-stage plug is then removed by the inner plug removal kit, allowing you to fit any PN16 fitting to the sandwich valve.
