PE2M Drilling Machine

The Pipetech PE2M, is an under-pressure drilling machine used for making connections on PE Pipes through branch saddles. Drillings can be made either using a short flanged fitting and valve with the short shaft supplied as standard. Alternatively drillings can be through a long flange pipe without valve by using a squeeze off to allow a live connection to be made.
 
Using proven mechanical technology to control pipe wall penetration, our machine employs a specially designed cup drill to minimise swarf and retain the coupon. The Pipetech PE2M includes an integral pressure testing facility and restraining clamps for impressed pressure working. All joints can be pressure tested before cutting. 
 
Operation
The PE2M is a simple to operate, lightweight, hand-operated Branch Mains Drilling Machine specifically designed for drilling through PE branch saddles. The PE2M is supplied with a short pattern shaft as standard. A long shaft is available to order and the PE cutters and accessories need to be ordered separately.
